This Cookie Policy explains how Intangiable Ltd ("Intangia", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on:

  • intangia.co — our public marketing website

  • app.intangia.co — our Scientific Opportunity Intelligence platform (the "Platform")

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

We use these technologies for purposes including:

  • keeping the Platform secure and authenticated;

  • measuring website and Platform usage;

  • diagnosing technical problems and improving our services.

Some cookies are strictly necessary for the service you request. Others are non-essential, such as analytics and tracking technologies, and are only used where permitted by applicable law and, where required, after you have given consent.

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These technologies are necessary to operate requested functionality, maintain authentication, or protect the security of our services.

Platform authentication

On app.intangia.co, we use Auth.js authentication cookies, including:

These cookies are necessary for users to sign in and use authenticated Platform functionality.

They are not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.

Other necessary cookies

Our websites and Platform may also use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for functions such as:

  • maintaining security;

  • preventing abuse;

  • routing requests;

  • remembering essential interface state; and

  • maintaining required functionality.

The exact cookies used may change as our infrastructure and service providers are updated.

3. Analytics and Performance Technologies

3.1 PostHog

We use PostHog on the marketing website and Platform to understand how visitors and users interact with Intangia and to improve our services.

PostHog may use cookies and similar browser storage technologies to maintain identifiers and sessions.

Examples of PostHog identifiers observed on our websites include cookies with names such as:

  • ph_phc_*_posthog

  • ph_*_posthog

These identifiers may contain information such as:

  • an anonymous device identifier;

  • a PostHog distinct identifier;

  • session information;

  • referral or initial-visit information; and

  • information about the user's interaction with our website or Platform.

For example, the PostHog data observed on our website contains anonymous identifiers and session identifiers associated with an anonymous user state.

PostHog is configured by Intangia to use its EU Cloud environment.

Where required by applicable law, PostHog's non-essential analytics technologies are only activated after the user has provided the required consent.

3.2 Framer Analytics

Our marketing website is hosted using Framer.

Framer's built-in analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. Framer states that its analytics uses anonymised information and does not require cookie consent for Framer's own analytics.

Framer may nevertheless set or facilitate cookies and similar technologies associated with other functionality or third-party services integrated into a Framer website. We therefore distinguish Framer's own analytics from third-party technologies used on our website.

4. Third-Party and Embedded Technologies

Some technologies observed on our marketing website originate from third-party infrastructure used by Framer or services integrated into the website.

HubSpot

Our current website environment may set HubSpot-related cookies, including:

  • __hstc

These technologies may be used for visitor identification, session tracking, analytics, or marketing attribution.

Where these cookies are non-essential, they are subject to the applicable consent requirements.

The presence and exact use of third-party cookies may change when website integrations are added, removed, or updated. We review our cookie configuration periodically.

Google

Our current cookie inventory does not show Google Analytics cookies such as _ga or _gid.

Accordingly, Google Analytics is not described as an active analytics technology in this policy. If Google Analytics or another Google tracking service is subsequently added to the website, this Cookie Policy will be updated and the relevant technologies will be subject to the applicable consent requirements.

We classify our cookies and similar technologies into the following categories:

Strictly Necessary

These technologies are required for the website or Platform to provide functionality requested by the user, including authentication and security.

They do not require consent where they fall within the strictly necessary exemption under applicable law.

We do not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers on the Intangia website.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from functioning correctly, particularly authentication and security functionality.

You can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time through our cookie preference mechanism.

7. How Long Cookies Last

Cookie lifetimes vary depending on their purpose.

Strictly necessary authentication cookies may last for the duration of a session or for the configured authentication/session lifetime.

Analytics cookies and identifiers may persist for longer periods in order to recognise returning browsers or maintain analytics sessions.

We do not rely on a single fixed retention period for all cookies. We review cookie lifetimes and seek to retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is used.

8. Changes to Our Cookies

The cookies and similar technologies used by our websites may change as we:

  • add or remove services;

  • change analytics providers;

  • update our website;

  • improve Platform security;

  • change authentication infrastructure; or

  • update third-party integrations.
